IT PRO webcast to put unified communications to the test
By IT PRO Staff,
This week IT PRO is hosting a special online event, a web seminar taking a first-hand, interactive look at unified communications and how convergence can benefit business.
Taking place this Thursday, 12 July at 3pm, this web seminar will examine the role of unified communications and how it can help the human network connect with people and business, wherever they are and whenever they want, and how new approaches to networking and new technologies have broken down the traditional barriers of time, distance, security and geographical boundaries.
Our expert panel of speakers includes Richard Osborne, a consulting systems engineer with Cisco, Simon Furber, network manager with Brunel University , who will be talking about his experiences using and deploying a unified comms solution as a business user, plus a leading independent industry commentator and analyst.
We will also be running a live question and answer session, allowing you to pose questions directly to our expert panel.
Whether you work for a multinational corporation employing hundreds of thousands around the world, or an emerging business employing half a dozen people in one location, the modern business has to consider the implications of working and communicating on a global scale.
For example: How can I maximise the productivity and availability of key staff, how do I keep communication and data secure, what is the environmental impact of my business, how can I make best use of my investment in infrastructure.
