Adjust the colour mode depending on how you'll use the images - RGB for the web and CMYK for printing.
Start by creating a new page. You can choose a preset based on the page size. As we're starting with an advertising flyer, we'll pick the familiar A4 page size. You can choose any of a range of US or international sizes, as well as photo paper (or your own custom page). You can adjust the colour mode, depending on what you intend to do with the image - RGB is good for web images, while CMYK works well for images that need to be sent to a printer.
