Orange extends mobile broadband tariffs
By Maggie Holland,
Orange has updated its mobile broadband charges to cater for companies that have a big appetite for data on the go and for those that prefer to snack.
The mobile operator's Business Everywhere package now includes both unlimited and daily unlimited consumption rates, costing £17 a month on a 24 month contract and £7 for on-the-fly daily usage. Both are subject to fair usage policies of 3GB and 1GB respectively.
"Mobile broadband is the ultimate in business freedom," said Martin Lyne, director of Orange UK's small business arm. "It means no wires, no hassle and no more searching for a wireless hotspot between meetings. Simply plug and go."
The first package, Business Everywhere Unlimited, will come bundled with a small form factor Option ICON 225 modem in addition to 250 UK Wi-Fi minutes.
The second option, Business Everywhere Daily, is aimed at giving occasional mobile workers flexibility to be productive on the move, according to Orange.
