5 . The Vista install program insists you start by telling it the language, time and currency format and keyboard and input method you'll be using, so you should select English and English (United kingdom) for the first two, and the third will then select automatically. Click Next. On the following screen, don't click Install Now, which will start to install a vanilla copy of Vista over your system. You can look at the information offered under 'What to know before installing Windows', but most of this is concerned with a brand new installation, not restoring a previously saved Complete PC Backup. When you're ready, select Repair your computer. This is the option to choose, even if you're restoring an image and your current Vista doesn't need repair.
