IT PRO Podcast: When robots attack
By IT PRO Staff,
The IT PRO team sits down for another discussion of the week's news.
Nicole tells us about her recent experience with Intel and its killer robots. OK, they didn't kill anyone, but they did a good job of dropping some mugs. More importantly, it was a demonstration of the progress that is being made in robotics.
The political leanings of the team also emerge as we discuss a survey into which of the London Mayoral candidates was polling best among bloggers and forum users, before we get on to discussing how major PC makers are planning to continue sales of Windows XP beyond the 30 June cut-off data set by Microsoft.
HM Revenue and Customs has started taking a hard line on data security - we explain why and how. And to wrap up, we pass on a warning about a potential security flaw involving SQL Server.
