Asus confirms launch of desktop Ebox
By Ash Dosanjh,
Reports coming in that the Asus Ebox is readying itself for an imminent launch have been confirmed.
A spokesman for the computer systems company said that the Ebox would be unveiled at Computex on 3 June.
The Wii-esque desktop version of the Eee PC will contain a 160GB hard drive, 2GB RAM and will run Linux OS, according to an Asus spokesman.
Last month, Asus revealed details of the Eee PC 900, a follow-up to its Eee PC laptop.
Asus declined to give further details of its Ebox until next month's launch.
