    LogMeIn Ignition runs without installing

You install LogMeIn Ignition on a USB storage device, not on the PC you're running it on. You can put it on any USB device with enough memory; it needs less than 4MB so it will fit on a smartphone, MP3 player or digital camera as well as a USB stick. If you're using a U3 drive Ignition shows up on the U3 list, otherwise it uses the Windows AutoPlay mechanism to open a Windows dialog offering to run the software, so that will look slightly different depending on the version of Windows. If AutoPlay is disabled you have to open the device in Explorer, look in the LogMeInIgnition folder and run LMIIgnition.exe.
