    The Clone tool now shows an overlay of what you're using to replace the image, over the space you're working in.

We'll now go back to Photoshop create a duplicate of the layer containing the posterised rocket launch. Using Photoshop's image cloning tools we'll now start to erase the launch image, replacing it with appropriate sections of the background. The Clone tool now shows an overlay of what you're using to replace the image, over the space you're working in. This allows you to keep tight control of how you replace unwanted image areas, and helps build a convincing image for publication, especially when the perfect image is just a stray tourist away!
