Creating layers gives more flexibility for effects and CS3 makes layer management easy.
We can quickly convert the selection into a layer, ready for us to create a new background. Layering image elements and creating layers from different sections of an image lets us apply different effects in different places, and build complex images from simple stock photographs. Photoshop makes it easy to manage image layers, and to use blend and merge tools to control how they're used to build up an image. Photoshop's new 3D tools can be used to give your images even more complex effects.
