4 . Working in Netviewer The user has decided not to show their taskbar or desktop, so you see those areas in black. It’s a little distracting but it means you’re reminded that these are hidden, so you won’t spend time wondering why you can’t see them and you don’t need to worry about seeing information you might be accused of leaking. Even Netviewer’s own windows are hidden until the user accepts your request to send their system information, but you can see their application windows – and you can chat to them in text or over VoIP if it’s easier to speak than type. The sound quality depends on the network bandwidth available. You don’t have to leave the control panel open just to see the chat; if you’re not using the system information or the other panels, drag chat out into its own window and close the rest.
