IDF 2008: On show at IDF

The IDF Technology Showcase is a mix of components, prototype systems, product demonstrations including the chance to see products from the keynotes up close - and research projects. This year's demos included embedded processors that end up in cars and the personal navigation device you use to find a petrol station; there was even a petrol pump running PumpTopTV, showing ads, entertainment and a rather slicker payment interface than usual.
