Find on the page
Finding exactly where on the page your search term falls shouldn’t be hard and IE8 finally gets on-page searching that doesn’t sit up in a dialog box that prevents you doing anything else. You can choose Find on this page… from the search dropdown or just choose Ctrl-F to open a search bar at the top of the page. Click the highlighter icon to turn yellow highlighting on and off. This isn’t new; you can use the IE7 Pro add-in to get it without upgrading to IE8, but it’s more convenient to have it available in every copy of the browser without having to install anything else.
