Jump to XP Mode
The release candidate for XP Mode adds more Windows 7 integration points, including support for Jump Lists. Pin the XP Mode icon to the Task Bar, and right-click to open its jump list. This will show you the most recent XP Mode applications launched, as well as tools for working with USB devices.
You can connect a wide range of USB devices, including storage and wireless hardware, to your XP Mode virtual machine, simplifying access to data and to hardware. If an XP application needs specific hardware, like a smart card reader or a bar code scanner, you can attach it to your XP VM, ready for use by XP Mode software. Once a USB device has been redirected it can only be used by XP Mode applications, until it’s been released back to Windows 7. There’s one exception: storage hardware, which is shared between host and guest operating systems.
