Another long-awaited improvement in IE8 is reloading tabs after the browser crashed. Because tabs are isolated from each other, it’s rare for one tab to crash another; if they do, when IE8 reloads the tab, it puts it in another process. If the whole browser crashes, every tab will be reloaded into its own process next time. If you want to see the isolation in action without waiting for something to go wrong, visit the IE8demo site and follow the instructions to crash the tab immediately.
