Week in Numbers: Businesses not tweeting?

Twitter is not catching on as quickly in the business world as it is everywhere else according to a new survey, while UK web surfers would rather see ads than pay for content.
Two per cent – the amount of businesses in the UK that use Twitter , according to a WebTrends survey.
Two thirds - the number of UK consumers prefer to watch online advertisements to access free web content , rather than having to pay for it according to KPMG’s research.
30 per cent – HTC posted a 30 per cent profit loss in its first quarter.
5500 – IT PRO and Intel are teaming up and giving away two 5500 Xenon processors and three Core i7’s in a competition. Entries must be in by midnight on 17 April 2009.
£48 million – the costs the government has agreed to cover after an EU Directive forcing ISPs to keep internet data on customers for one year has officially began in the UK.
