HTC Touch 3G makes business debut on Orange

Businesses signed up to the Orange network can now get their hands on an exclusive edition of the HTC touch 3G.

The mobile giant will sell the device, which bridges the divide between work and play with its bundled applications, in matt black.

HTC Touch 3G features that should appeal to business users include the use of UMA technology, which lets people make calls using broadband or Wi-Fi. The handset also supports HSDPA and microSD storage of 30GB, making it ideal for those wanting to carry documents around.

Running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the HTC Touch 3G also boasts a 2.8 inch touch screen and mobile email so Outlook messages and calendar data can be synched.

"Mobile email is no longer enough for busy professionals. Instead, they’re looking for a device that offers a range of business functions and multimedia services,” said François Mahieu, director of devices at Orange, in a statement.

“The HTC Touch 3G offers all this and more, helping businesses get more out of whatever they’re doing, wherever they are.”
