HTC Magic coming this week
By Maggie Holland,
The HTC Magic, the latest Google Android-powered phone to captivate users’ attention, will finally hit the shops on 1 May.
Announced back in February at Mobile World Congress (MWC), the HTC Magic’s release date has been the subject of much debate, with many different options touted or hinted at on Vodafone’s website.
But users will now be able to get their hands on a shiny new device from this Friday.
IT PRO was able to carry out a first look review of the HTC Magic back in February.
At the time, Patrick Chomet, global director of Vodafone’s terminals arm, said in a statement: “Following our joining of the Open Handset Alliance, we have worked very closely with HTC to bring this cool new phone to the market.”
He added: “Our customers want to access a wide range of the most attractive mobile devices to help them make the most of their time - the HTC Magic helps meet that need.”
We will be publishing a full review of the HTC Magic’s imminent arrival as soon as we can get our hands on one.
