Timeline: A short history of the Apple iPhone

In the two years since the iPhone's launch, it's changed the mobile industry. We take a quick look back.

Before the iPhone 3G even hit stores in July, it was selling out online.

The handset had a few problems, with its charger and security, but overall, it managed to follow its older sibling’s success.

The next generation: iPhone 3.0?

In March this year, Apple announced it would upgrade its firmware – finally adding the ability to cut and paste.

And today, many expect Apple to unveil a 32GB version – although we’ll have to wait until tonight to see exactly what Apple plans for its next iPhone.

Really ?

Yet again, it seems Apple have pulled the wool over the eyes of the gullible and "invented" something that already existed. Touch screens ? Been around for a while. Third party apps ? Nokia have had a software market for ages !

It's just like everything else Apple do- looks flashy, and marketed brilliantly. I'm looking forward to the day Apple convince the world they invented the wheel too- except of course this will be a chrom-edged, diamond studded wheel.

I love this phone!

I have a phone for a year and its not really functioning well. Because of financial crisis I cant afford to buy a new one. my mom always telling me that instead of buying a phone, i should use my money for my tuition fees. Thats why i was so greatful when I found this site.. Hope you can give me any of the phones here for FREE and I hope its TRUE,, thanks
