Time capsule

Apple has launched a new version of its Time Capsule backup device with a 2TB capacity.

The wireless product works automatically with Time Machine in Mac OS X Leopard and comes with a Wi-Fi base station, allowing you and a number of other machines to access it remotely from anywhere in the house.

It has dual band support and is compatible not only with a Mac but other Apple tech such as the iPhone or iPod.

The 2TB version comes in at £379, but Apple has reduced the original 1TB to £229.

It is available from today in the UK via Apple’s online store.
