BT offers Google AdWords to SMBs
By Jennifer Scott,
BT Business and Google have teamed up to offer a digital marketing solution to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs).
The division of BT will now become an official reseller for Google’s AdWords, with the one million businesses already served by it being able to access the full service from Google.
Bill Murphy, managing director of BT Business, said in a statement: “Small businesses are looking to the internet to compete and grow in these tough economic times. They don’t often have the skills internally to manage this and need affordable services and support.”
He added: “Working with Google AdWords will enable us to help smaller companies promote themselves and engage with customers, partners and suppliers online as well as larger businesses.”
The service is designed to help SMBs tackle the range of things needed to build up a digital presence including setting up websites, online marketing campaigns and business social networking, according to BT.
