    Orange leaves customers without broadband

An unidentified problem has made seen Orange broadband fail for many of its users.

Broadband outage

Orange broadband has turned the company a shade of red, as its broadband service has embarrassingly failed for a number of its customers.

The company has yet to identify the problem, but is said to be investigating it “as a matter of priority.”

A spokesperson from the company acknowledged the outage and offered their apologies for any inconvenience caused, but would not confirm whether the fault was limited to home users or if businesses had been affected.

This is the second time this week Orange has hit the headlines following a surprise merger with T-Mobile being confirmed on Tuesday.

When the deal goes through it will give the joint venture a market share of around 37 per cent, outstripping the other three UK providers by at least 10 per cent.
