Google Apps now has push email support for iPhone and Windows Mobile devices.

Google claimed that this was offered as a "complete mobile sync solution for businesses".

Apps customers can now get push email, contacts and calendaring information across BlackBerry, iPhone, Windows Mobile and Android handsets.

"With over-the-air, always-on push connections, emails and changes to calendar events and contacts are reflected very quickly on their phones," Google said in its enterprise blog.

Windows Mobile and iPhone users can set up Google Sync in a few steps directly from their phones, while those already syncing calendar and contacts can enable Mail sync.

Those with personal Gmail or Google Calendar accounts have not been left out and can also use Google Sync.

If users are already using Google Sync for contacts and calendar, push email is enabled automatically.

Domain administrators can also enable Google Sync in the US English version of the administrative control panel.
