Toshiba has announced two new laptops that will feature Intel’s new low voltage processors.

The company claims that the Satellite T130 and T110 laptops can achieve 11 hours of battery life with the new energy efficient Intel Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) processors.

The T130 has a choice of Intel Pentium, Intel Single Core or Intel Celeron Single Core CULVs with the smaller T110 coming with either Intel Pentium or Intel Celeron Single Core.

The lower spec T110 will feature 3GB DDR3 of RAM and 250GB of hard disk drive space with a step up to 4GB DDR3 and 500GB of hard disk for the T130.

The products come with screens of either 13.3in for the T130 or 11.6in for the T110 and measure 22.2mm at the thinnest point. They feature multi-touch track pads and come in three colours.

Toshiba has said these products are affordable with price points starting at £429 and they will become available in October.
