Google wave

Well, today almost everything has an Atom or RSS feed, so I think it's been pretty successful as a protocol. It has surpassed my expecations (which were low to begin with). Google Wave is a protocol, a server, and client software (mobile + web), so it's a different kind of animal. It is in fact hard to judge what the adoption curve will look like once it's out: Will it be geometric, or bump-then-flat? I'd say there's a fair chance that this may take off. travel pillow
