Access files from anywhere
If you use the CloudStorage system, it shows up in the hosted desktop as a mapped drive (the icon in the system tray lets users change what drive letter is assigned).
Because it’s a cloud service, files stored in here are accessible from any browser (there are clients for iPhone and BlackBerry as well). Here we’re opening the files directly from the CloudStorage site in a browser rather than logging into the desktop and we see the PowerPoint we saved to drive T.
You can upload files here and they’ll appear inside the desktop (which may be faster than opening the hosted desktop just to transfer them). As well as storing their individual files, users can click the Share This button and the selected files will show up in a special Shares To Me folder that all the hosted desktop users get access to.
