Vodafone is doing its bit to reassure mobile workers that they're safe by

bundling free security tools with its small business broadband plans.

Those signing up to an £18, 24 month contract will get a 5GB data allowance in addition to a Premium PC Security pack, including anti-virus and spyware protection, a firewall, email and backup tools and more.

The same security bundle is also available for those opting for a £17-a-month 4GB data plan.

“The recent weather has highlighted once again the need for fast and reliable mobile working solutions that allow us to keep working wherever we are, whatever the circumstances,” said Jo Werker, Vodafone's head of small and medium business, in a statement.

“These new plans provide exceptional value for money for businesses that want to take advantage of the UK’s most widely used mobile broadband network – with the extra peace of mind provided by a robust range of security features.”
