MWC 2010: Vivaz Pro unveiled by Sony Ericsson
By Maggie Holland,
Sony Ericsson has followed up last month’s launch of the HD-focused Vivaz handset by unveiling the Vivaz Pro.
The younger sibling, which will be available in the coming months in either black or white, boasts a 3.2in (16:9 wide screen) touch screen and a full, slide-out QWERTY keyboard to ensure both messaging and multimedia cravings are satisfied.

“Having announced Sony Ericsson Vivaz in January we are now adding a sister phone that includes a QWERTY keyboard along with the touch screen for a superior messaging and entertainment experience,” said Daniel Sandblom, Sony Ericsson’s marketing business manager, in a statement ahead of the first day of Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
“Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro meets the increased consumer demand for QWERTY devices without compromising on any entertainment features.”

The new handset features a slick design, which is based on Sony’s ‘human curvature’ philosophy.
