Google Nexus One's UK arrival delayed
By Nicole Kobie,
The Google Nexus One won't arrive in the UK until the end of next month, according to more reports - giving rivals like the HTC Legend the upper hand.
The Nexus One was expected to arrive for sale on these shores this month, after going on sale in the US in January.
The phone will be available direct from Google online, or for free from Vodafone on a £35 a month contract. While Vodafone has a holding page for the smartphone, it offers no date for arrival.
The new reports suggest the phone will arrive in mid-April, echoing speculation earlier this month.
A spokesperson for Google denied the delay: "Our plans for launching the Nexus One in the UK are on track and in line with our statement in January that we would launch in spring 2010."
The timing means that the HTC Legend - which also runs Android - will arrive on Vodafone before the Nexus One.
