3 completes iPhone 4 network line-up
By Jennifer Scott,
3 has completed the line-up of iPhone 4 operators, confirming today it will be selling the device.
The mobile provider will begin shipping the handset on its 24 June release date but customers wanting to get their hands on Apple’s flagship smartphone can pre-order from 15 June.
Earlier this week O2 confirmed it would be offering the iPhone 4 with a chance for customers mid-way through their contracts to upgrade.
T-Mobile, Orange and Vodafone will also sell the handset but none of the operators have unveiled pricing and tariffs as yet.
The iPhone 4 was launched on Monday at Apple’s WWDC conference in San Francisco.
Steve Jobs took to the stage to unveil the device, claiming it was “the biggest leap since the original iPhone.”
