Apple releases SIM-free iPhone 4 prices
By Tom Brewster,
Apple has revealed its UK iPhone 4 prices, sans contract, with the 16GB model costing £499 and the 32GB version priced at £599.
The device is available in black for preorder now with deliveries due for 24 June, but the white version remains unexplainably unavailable for now.
None of the networks stocking the iPhone have released their full pricing plans as yet, but a Vodafone test page was recently spied showing unofficial costs.
If the information on the test site is to be believed, prices for the new iPhone will start at £189 for the 16GB model and £280 for the 32GB phone.
The unofficial costs also show anyone wanting to get their hands on an iPhone 4 for free will need to sign up to a £45 a month deal for the 16GB model and a £60 a month deal for the 32GB version.
However, Vodafone told IT PRO that no iPhone 4 prices have yet been confirmed.
Those wanting a SIM-free iPhone can head to the Apple store now to pre-order the device.
