Vodafone joins in with iPhone 4 tariff unveilings
By Jennifer Scott,
Vodafone has announced its own tariffs for the iPhone 4, with a slightly higher price tag than an earlier leak had indicated.
The cheapest per month contract comes in at £25 for two years with 75 minutes and 250 texts, but for the 16GB model a one of payment of £219 is needed or £309 for the 32GB version.
Customers can get the 16GB handset for free on both 18 and 24 month contracts but they will have to pay either £65 or £60 respectively each month to do so.
Vodafone also confirmed business plans for the iPhone 4, offering the 16GB handset from £50 per month or the 32GB from £60 on either 24 or 18 month contracts.
Earlier this week a test page of iPhone 4 pricing was made live on the Vodafone website by accident. Unfortunately though, the official pricing is more costly, dashing hopes of a free handset for a £45 per month contract.
The company has also confirmed it will be offering the iPhone 4 on pay as you go from July.
