Mozilla has opened up a new version of the Firefox 4 Beta with the addition of multi-touch support for Windows 7.
This nifty feature is for those with multi-touch capable monitors and enables users to carry out actions such as zoom, rotation and cutting on web pages.
Users can even customise the experience by altering their personal interface.
"Developers can use multi-touch capabilities to leverage touch-enabled devices and provide people with an intuitive and fun browsing experience," a Mozilla blog read.
The other notable change in the third beta for Firefox 4 is in the browser's JavaScript handling functions, enabling it "to execute heavy, numeric code more efficiently".
"This sort of code is used to produce smooth, streamlined graphics in modern web applications," Mozilla explained.
Hundreds of bug fixes have also been included in the new beta, while the popular feedback extension remains.
"The Feedback tool has been a great success, and our half-million testers submit approximately 3,500 pieces of feedback every day," Mozilla added.
