The firewall options in the client software
8 You may choose to enable the client-side firewall, which can work instead of or alongside the default firewall software built into Windows. The firewall interface in the client software is basic, and is particularly austere if you have disabled changes from the client. It appears alongside options to install a couple of toolbar utilities. These are the TrendProtect and Transaction Protector Toolbars. TrendProtect aims to warn of malicious or inappropriate websites, while Transaction Protector provides extra privacy protection when using wireless networks.
