3 offers 15GB iPad deal
By Jennifer Scott,
If you want to get your hands on an iPad with a sizeable data allowance, it looks like 3 might be the provider to go for.
The mobile company has announced a new offer for Apple’s tablet, enabling customers to get 15GB of data a month – significantly higher than the average 1GB offered by most providers.
For an upfront cost of £199, customers can get a 16GB iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G – and the hefty data allowance – on a 24 month contract for £25 per month.
For a 32GB version, the contract price remains the same but the up front cost rises to £249. Again, for the 64GB iPad the contract stays at £25, but the up front cost comes in at £349.
The iPad has proved a massive success for Apple, with research from IDC released this week showing it held an 87.4 per cent market share for media tablets.
Rumours are rife that the second version of the iPad is soon to be announced. However, the competition is increasing with over 100 new tablet devices being shown at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) alone. It seems the company will hold its crown for the time being though.
