Follow our Cloud Summit as it happens on Twitter #CloudSummit11
We’re delighted to invite you to our inaugural Cloud Summit where we aim to provide real world insight into the unchartered waters of cloud computing. With cloud still in its infancy, we’ve focussed on delivering an interactive event full of customer experiences from small, medium and large companies.
Our expert panel debate will focus on the major security concerns: data privacy and loss, identification and authentication, and regulation.
Who should attend? IT managers, IT Directors and CIOs – anyone considering, planning or implementing a cloud-based project!
Agenda
What’s the state of the market and how will it evolve over the coming years?
Laurent Lachal, Senior analyst, Ovum
Customer Case Study 1: Richmond Events, Liam Quinn, IT Director
As a small business, Richmond Events has implemented a cloud-based solution to drive business growth, reduce costs and offer an innovative and scalable customer offering. Its unique cloud solutions will help businesses of all sizes.
Customer Case Study 2: haysmacintyre, Simon Bulleyment, CIO
With public cloud not a viable option, this accounting firm has implemented an on-premise private cloud infrastructure and plans to move further into the cloud as a result.
Customer Case Study 3: Channel 4, Bob Harris, CTO
Broadcaster Channel 4 has been very active in using websites to complement its programmes. The company was an early adopter of cloud, having used Amazon Web Services since 2008.
Its CTO, Bob Harris, is going to talk about the company’s cloud journey over the last three years and where it’s going next.
Panel Debate: “Is the cloud secure?“
The Experts: Rik Ferguson - Trend Micro, Director Security Research & Communication EMEA
Rene Millman – IDC, Program Manager, European Software
David Chalmers – HP CTO for Servers, Storage and Networking

I have been data breach by Southwark council, it is appalling that, such borough can be so careless, this is what they do, they pass your details to people to humiliate, intimidate and do not care about peoples feelings.
