7 . Support tools The process creates what's known as an answer file. This sets out the various options and parameters needed so that the installation can proceed completely automatically, so there's no need to revisit a machine once it has been set on its way. How is this done? The first step is to grab the necessary software from your Windows install disc. The Windows Setup Manager tool is in the \support\tools\ folder. Click on the deploy.cab file and copy the contents to a new folder called deploy in your Windows directory.
