IT Pro Rating Price: £161.84 Company: LG Review Date: 7th May 2008 Verdict:DisplayLink is an easy way of expanding your display environment, which will have great appeal to business and creative users. The LG Flatron L206WU itself is a mixed bag, however. While image quality is generally fine, the consumer styling won't suit businesses, you need an up-to-date system to get the best out of DisplayLink, and Linux users will have to miss out on the technology altogether.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £655 - £4,209 depending on configuration Review Date: 2nd May 2008 Verdict: HP's BladeSystem c-Class continues to set the bar. HP offers an extensive range of server and switch blades with some interesting storage options and excellent build quality. Management and monitoring facilities are far superior to the competition and the latest power control and metering tools could prove invaluable to data centres.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £14,726 Review Date: 28th Apr 2008 Verdict: A desktop scanner which can handle up to 60,000 pages a day at up to A3 is never going to be cheap. Canon's ImageFORMULA DR-X10C, though, has been designed to automate ways of dealing with most of the problems that might occur.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £182.72 Review Date: 23rd Apr 2008 Verdict: HP's L2245w isn't the cheapest 22in on the block, but it does offer great performance for the cash, with a great picture, flexible stand options, including pivot function, and a business-like and smart design.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £2,286 Review Date: 18th Apr 2008 Verdict: The X750e Firewall appliance offers an impressive range of features for the price. Strong policy based security is enhanced with web content filtering and the improved reporting tools are particularly good, although the number of services that have to be run on other systems does complicate management.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £329 Review Date: 16th Apr 2008 Verdict: Asus has improved the already good Eee PC, enhancing the screen size and resolution, increasing storage and adding effective multi- touch technology. If you want an affordable ultra portable for your workforce, this is it.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £1960 ex VAT Review Date: 3rd Apr 2008 Verdict: This A3+ colour laser has consumables which go the distance, is quite quick, particularly when printing duplex, and can be expanded from workgroup to near departmental status. Versatile and reasonable quality print make it a good proofing tool and its competitive pricing completes an attractive package.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £439 Review Date: 5th Mar 2008 Verdict: A robust, workgroup laser printer, with twin paper trays and multiple connections as standard, but no duplexer or direct print - both are options. Print speed isn't up to manufacturer's claims but print quality is good and maintenance is straightforward.
IT Pro Rating: Price: £1,199 Review Date: 26th Feb 2008 Verdict: As stylish a notebook as you could hope for, but in its quest for thinness, Apple has sacrificed a lot.
It's lovely to use in many respects but one can't help feeling that the Air is a triumph of style over practicality.

Whether in manual or batch mode, the well-chosen software works alongside a carefully-engineered scanner mechanism to deliver high quality scans and OCRed pages.
