Ah the press trip. The journalist’s reward for crap pay and long hours. And how about it - I’m going to Sin City tomorrow.

I’m covering the huge EMC World Conference in Manderlay Bay, so I’ll be hearing guys like Joe Tucci talking about storage for EMC and more interestingly for me thanks to my security beat Arthur Coviello talking about the security aspects for RSA.

Glammy type rock band? Getting on a bit? Oh I get it! You’re a techno geek. Cause you sure don’t know anything about bands. Too bad you just saw the best and didn’t realize it.

hahaha. i do know this band. I love iris, slide, dizzy and black balloon. but their other songs are a bit mainstream middle of the road rock. and they are old. they’ve been around since the mid eighties. glammy - you’ve seen their videos. Glammy in the sense that he’s got big hair and make-up.

techno geek? moi? you’ve never met me before. maybe i’ll call you old cos you like this band?
