Yahoo Go

Yahoo Go is… an interesting piece of software on a mobile - I have the verson on my N73 that came with it from Three (read previous blog entries), and I have been playing. Its useful to me because of 2 killer features:
1/ Photo Synchronisation on the move is the MOST useful thing ever. At a Birthday party/boozy night Friday, and pics from the 3.2 MP camera on board my phone were automagically uploaded onto Yahoo Photos… in an album my friends have access to. All… from the pub, no downloading/emailing later - and no hassle.
Can result in interesting MSN’s/texts after the event though… did we really do karaoke on Friday?
2/ Contact synchronisation. Found my Yahoo account had my entire phone database on it, updated with all the latest numbers… very very useful if you lose your mobile, or it runs out of battery and you have left the charger at home. Yes you can do this with a PC, but you have to remember to do it. You can set Yahoo to do it wirelessly and it just does (or appears to be for me at least).
Now yes it does email… but I’m not going to go into detail about that as I haven’t used it.
