Datacentre shrinking - my experience

The past few weekends have been fun in a way - we have just completed 99.99% of decomissioning 2x football pitch sized computer rooms.

I agree about the Octopus card in HK - it works very well - we need something “national” in UK that covers public transport as well as say car parks, so that EVERY car park is covered by such a system, like Octopus. Will it ever happen? Doubt it…it’s “too” joined up for most of these namby pamby councils, full of their own councillors who only have their own interests at heart. PS Tell writer to invest in a spell checker…!
