In just 24 hours the winner of the second most important race in the world will be announced. Apart from becoming recognised in just about every country and having the earth’s population looking to them for leadership, the man with the shortest odds has something in common with the winner of the premier race: they are both young and skinny.

The greatest of the two is undoubtedly Lewis Hamilton. He gave us elation, despair and a Murray Walker lump in our throats as Lewis won, lost then regained the world championship. All in less than a mile from the finishing line. His rival, Massa, having to go through the reverse emotions and unable to hide them from the world
