Today I was training on Microsoft Outlook and was asked if Act! (The CRM Offering from Sage) can synchronise its Calendar with Outlook.

After a quick Google I found a couple of solutions…

1)      The first is a bit of a quick fix. It allows you to manually start a sync from within Act!

a.       Choose Outlook Activities from the ACT! Tools menu.

b.      Choose Update to display the Update dialog

c.       Choose the middle button, Outlook calendar with ACT! activities

d.      Select a Date Range

e.       Click Update to begin updating your Outlook calendar with your ACT! activities

2)      The second option is to purchase some software to do this for you. I did come across some free software available to do this, although after reading some reviews I would advise against using it.
