Jason, Do you think the flurry of releases from Microsoft are ‘true’ updates offering real advances, or is your impression that they are cosmestic and are being released because…it was 2 years since the last one?

Interesting question Moshe! Some of them are clearly major advances - look at Windows Server 2008 and IE8 for example - whilst others such as Office Live and SP3 for XP do leave us wondering. I notice the announcements haven’t been coming thick and fast recently - the only thing I’ve heard of recently is the impending Wordpress 2.5 announcement that I talked about recently on my other Blog: http://www.jasonslater.co.uk/2008/03/18/wordpress-25-is-on-the-launch-pad/
