Using the internet (Pt II)

So, I wrote the other day about how we can use the internet to expand our horizons. Unfortunately today we hear about how the internet (amongst other media) can negatively affect someone or some people.
Our UK media - and hands up to them, they often get bad press (lol) but this time they did something right - had a blanket ban on reporting the Prince Harry was out on the front line fighting with his unit. So what happens? A silly magazine, followed by other money/attention grabbing media decides that ‘Hey, this is a good exclusive. Let’s report it.’
1. did they not stop to wonder why our own media hadn’t said anything?
2. did they not think that they may be putting his, and other lives, in even more danger than they already are?
No, they just went for the story and sod everything else - including common decency, integrity and use of brain.
All the man (I was going to say lad but he deserves to be called a man after deploying with his unit) wanted to do was what he had trained for - fight alongside his friends and fellow soldiers. He could have taken the easy way out; hidden behind the MOD who didn’t really want him to go in the first place. But no, he insisted and the MOD found a way. Then the foreign media blew it for a story. Good on ya mates.
