Yay!

I’ve spent the last couple of days redesigning my business website. I know it’s not the snazziest design but I kinda like it.
Anywho, I naturally validated the css and html and it passed - well actually the html had some errors but they were all to do with the Twitter feed I’d put in. I also checked on browsershots.org to see what it looked like in a few different browsers and it looked none too bad. some older IE had a couple of iffy things but nothing major.
It’s not live yet but I’m hoping to get it done tomorrow - yeah right, I’ve got that damned PC to fix. A more realistic date maybe ‘by the weekend’. If you want to have a look at the prototype in the meantime it’s at baywebdesigns
Please do let me know of any glitches etc you see. I would really appreciate it. Of course, the content isn’t really there yet so don’t be expecting some erudite mutterings ![]()

Just for laughs, I tested it with “OffByOne”, a browser most notable for what it does NOT support - not a practical browser for general use these days, but handy as a low anchor test.
http://offbyone.com/offbyone/
No Java, no Javascript, no Flash, no ActiveX, no Iframe, no XSS vulnerabilities, no hostile scripting. It is quite possible this browser has no vulnerabilities at all, mainly because it lacks most of the places that would be vulnerable.
The results:
No images at all, and this browser does support IMG tags.
The updates, possibly an IFRAME, are not shown.
The links fall back to a list - for this browser, that is a good result.
The other thing with OffByOne, is you can expect it to be seeing much the same as some search spiders, due to the lack of many visual features.

Thanks Matt, the Twitter updates aren’t important really, may even move them to a secondary page. At least the links came up ![]()
There was only one image anyway so that’s not too big a deal as I guess people who use this browser won’t be expecting them.
As long as you could read the main info and links I’m happy. After all, the rest is really just sugar on the cake isn’t it?
