Son likes Call of Duty 4.
He’s been waiting for Call of Duty: World at War to come out for ages and was most miffed when one of his online friends said that he’d got his copy through the post 2 days early. I had to go to Asda the day before release and cheekily asked if it was out yet (knowing full well it wasn’t). “Midnight” was the reply.
I mentioned this to Son who said “Can’t I go?” “No” was the stern reply, it’s a school night - what kind of mum does he think I am?? Anyway, hubby said he’d call in on his way home from work so Son could get a half hour or so of morning play in before school. Read more

I’ve been chasing kids and cats lately - less than two weeks before relative sanity can return and we think we’ve stopped our naughty Bengal escaping through the hedge into next door’s garden (the garden with the rottweiler in it!). Thanks to the efforts of my parents I now have a greenhouse ready for growing my own veggies etc and will be spending time pottering over the winter lol. Read more
