Migrate your SharePoint workloads to the cloud with AvePoint

AvePoint's Office 365 managed service tool, AvePoint Online Partner Services, is landing in the UK via Vuzion's cloud marketplace.

The move allows customers to migrate SharePoint workloads and file shares to Microsoft's cloud, which will enable them to manage security settings and permissions from within the familiar SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business dashboards.

Users can leave remote backups and restores to the resellers through which they buy the product, whether they use Exchange Online, SharePoint Online or OneDrive for Business. This potentially frees up IT administrators' time to work on more pressing business requirements.

"The addition of AvePoint into the Vuzion portfolio provides resellers with the ability to easily create differentiated, professional, and managed service offerings to help customers successfully move to Office 365 from legacy on-premises solutions without the need to laboriously develop and integrate multiple solutions themselves," Michael Frisby, managing director of Vuzion, said.

It will also help partners' customers realise the potential of Office 365, the firms said, with value-added services to boost productivity of staff and speed up migration to the platform.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Vuzion," Scott Sacket, senior vice president of business development at AvePoint, added.

"The combination of AvePoint Online Partner Services and Vuzion's extensive partner network will help greatly accelerate the adoption of Office 365 and grow the portfolio of what managed services partners can offer their clients today."
