Bill Gates is officially "transitioning" away from the company he helped create over 30 years ago. While he will no longer be working at the software giant on a full-time basis, he will still have a role as non-executive chairman.
His new job will essentially be working for his own Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which works to improve healthcare and reduce poverty around the world, and to boost access to IT education in the US.
