Gateway’s remote management controller has a neat and tidy web interface with high levels of access to the server.
The bootable Smart Setup CD provides assistance with OS deployment and access to diagnostics tools.
The RMM provides plenty of remote power management options and full KVM-over-IP remote control as standard.
It’s not as good as HP’s Insight software, but Gateway’s Smart Server Manager provides remote monitoring and alerting facilities for multiple servers.
The Smart Server Manager provides views of all server sensors and you can tie thresholds to its alerting system for warnings of errors or faults.
