Video: Q&A with HTC chief Peter Chou
By Stephen Pritchard,
In the world of mobile phones, 2007 was the year of the touch interface.
But 2008 will be when mobile web browsing really takes off, as a result of better software, faster data connections and improved interfaces; both business users and consumers are set to benefit.
Or so argues HTC president and chief executive Peter Chou. All these things will come together in the manufacturer's latest handset, the Touch Diamond, he says.
IT PRO asked Chou for the inside track on the Touch Diamond, using business applications on the move, the importance of Windows Mobile 6.1 and the joys of one-handed browsing.
